In a significant development for the medical fraternity, St Pauls Udaipur 1989 pass out and St Pauls Udaipur Alumni Association (SPUAA) President Dr. Anand Gupta, who is also the current president of Indian Medical Association (IMA) Udaipur, has been elected as the Rajasthan State President of the association for the 2027–28 term.

Dr. Gupta secured a landslide victory over his opponent in a highly competitive election, winning by a record margin of votes. His achievement marks a milestone in the organization’s history and reflects the strong trust and confidence the medical community has placed in his leadership.

With over two decades of active service in the healthcare sector, Dr. Gupta has played a crucial role in shaping and improving medical services across South Rajasthan. Known for his progressive vision and innovative approach, he has contributed significantly to strengthening healthcare delivery and professional collaboration in the region.

Dr. Gupta has previously held several key positions within the organization, including Secretary, Zonal Secretary, and Central Committee Member. He has also made notable contributions as Chairman and Coordinator of the IMA Medical Students Network, where he worked towards mentoring and guiding future medical professionals.
